I dont even know what to say!

All that I can say is Brian must be the worst chess player in the world. We run when we should pass and we pass when we should run! Jet fans, we need a new Offensive Coordinator! I cant pin this one on the D!

Not this one anyway!

let me comment on the last three games.

Playoffs? Playoffs ? Playoffs? Califorinia here we come again get ready for an (uncalled for )close game. Brett doest like to win by two much of a margin. Seriously though Come On! I cant belive we almost lost the third straight game in a row. I can give them the Denver game at least it was a terrible day, I know I was there. San Fran 28th against the Pass, that's terrible! and Stop with the negativity Brett, my arm strength my not be there, welcome to the Medolands were you have to account for the wind there! No more exuses. Im sick of them. If we dont make the playoffs it's on the secondary and Brett. Ok the passing was better against the Bills exept when it had to be. Thank God for Pot Luck!

Subway for Broadway

That's right I said it! The J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets are a contender. I am going to the Jets Denver game this weekend to show my support and lose my voice! What a way to rap up fantasy football weekend than to start Jones and Keller and Coles and be at the game. and the guy Im going with is a die hard Denver fan who has been saying that Denver was going to Kill the Jets. I Dont Think So Hommie! I love the tight end running back scheme, totally opens up on of the outside linebackers and gives Jones a lane in most cases. One more metion, Leon you the man!

Just a quick comment!

Dont you want to cry everytime you see Derrick Ward run, we cut him for those who didnt know that. Whaaa! ok Im done.

Adrenalin

Let’s not get ahead of ourselves that was a terrific win, especially since the Rams have been playing pretty good up till last Sunday. I can’t think of a better way to go into Gillette Stadium against a banged up Patriots Defense and lay down the law. However you’re still playing against a healthy Bill Belichick, which you know he will be doing some wacky things to throw the Jets off their game. I don’t think I’m being an overzealous J- E- T- S Jets fan but I really think we are going to win no matter what camels say!

Thomas Jones can run!

And the Jets should have controlled more of this game with the run. It's no surprise that Oakland can stop the pass, and I put the blame on Woody, that guy is too out of shape. Oakland came through his side every time Favre tried to throw. I hope we take to the ground and pound this week.

57 yards

There is only one kicker with a strong enough leg to make that feild goal and we played him. Oakland! Really?

Feeling optimistic but...

Only a Jet’s fan can watch his team go into the locker room at halftime with a 34-0 lead and still be nervous, but kudos to Brett and the Jets offence for taking what the Cardinals defense gave them. Looks like Coles is gellin with Favre but why is Thomas struggling to run week in and week out. Something happened over the bye week, that if you’re a Jet’s fan you knew was coming, and that is Jessie Chapman is back and active. I said it before look for Chapman to take carries away from Thomas starting as early as next week against the bangles, or Thomas Jones steps up now with someone ready to take his job. I am personally rooting for Chapman he has heart and that wins games, pus he can catch the damn ball !

Playing Catchup

I have literally been playing catch-up. My wife gave birth to our second daughter two weeks early, man that throws off your schedule. So anyway the Miami game looked pretty close whew! Too close for my comfort level, nice second effort by the secondary. The Patriots game well “they we’re who we thought they were and we let them off the hook, so go on and crown their a$$ if you want too” come on the missed field goal put doubt in our heads way to early. The Pats only scored 1 touch down, our defense looked great holding them to field goals mainly ,, and what are you doing running three running plays on the 5 yard line. I mean what the hell did we go and get Brett for if were going to play that safe, open up the playbook please and pick something. We will be able to run the ball and throw the ball against the Chargers, Phillips looks good and he’s thrown 3 TDs in the last two games. We can hang if our D holds up the way they have been, and make some big plays look to the tight ends early and often.

Later from Belford!

Let's get ready to Rumble!

After closely watching the preseason my biggest concern is Thomas Jones, I need to see some hunger like I see in Jessie Chapman. The thing I love about him is his legs never stop kicking, like, he’s got the rocky theme playing in his head.
Now; maybe Thomas is just taking it easy during the preseason then he'll bust out and show some rage over his last years #’s. If not don’t be surprised if Jessie get in there to steal some reps, Yep you heard that here first!

The List of Wideouts keeps getting Longer

Larry Brackins, at 6'4" 225 has singed with the Jets and has gone from the Bucaneers to AFL back to NFL. Looks like he has some talent, hopefully we get to see some action before the start of the season. I'll say this much, we have depth!

Who will emerge in the # 3 slot ?

As I read through the thoughts and comments of many Jet fans it would appear that there is a concern for our 3rd receiver slot. HMMM! What is everyone worried about? I won’t even get into the tight end corps, but I see some great talent at the 3rd slot. Last season I liked Brad Smith and he should have gotten the ball over Justin "Butter Hands" McCareins more often. I'll be nice and just say that I am glad to be rid of McCareins! But seriously what happened to Brad Smith, I guess Mangini took something away from New England and that is his unwillingness to disclose information. The versatile Smith is entering his third year and looked poised to have a great season this year.

I know it's early, but I am impressed with the speed and dedication of 2nd year wide receiver Chansi Stuckey although he can be considered injury prone after breaking his foot twice since his senior year. David Clowney another 6 foot target with a ton of speed as you saw in the pre-season opener against the Browns, Clowney was picked up by the Jets off the Packers wavers last October. And it would be hard to overlook the 6'4" Marcus Henry out of Kansas as who has decent speed and hands he should be a nice big target for Brett.

So stop the whining all you Jet fans, we're looking good. If you want to complain about something lets start with all the poser fans who are going to be rooting for the Jets this year, they will be easy to find they already ordered a #4 Jersey... but that will be another blog.

The Jet's running backs will have a field day!

Thomas Jones and the rest of the Jets running backs should post some great numbers this year! When you have a quarterback who can throw the ball as far as Brett can, you cannot stack the box on him or he's throwing for a touchdown. Not to mention the new ramped up front line. It will be an exciting season as a Jets fan, we know what strengths we had and we know what this type of quarterback will do for us. Don’t be afraid to express that! Regardless of the continued “keep your expectations in check" you'll hear over the next 4 weeks. I haven’t been this happy in years about an upcoming season. I only have one problem with Brett being added to the Jet’s, and that is I was trying to target Thomas Jones in my fantasy “keeper” league, now he’s going to move up out of my range. Oh well, I’ll take that trade off!

BROADWAY BRETT...

The loud roar across the tri-state area early Thursday morning was the cheers of Gang Green fans...Brett Farve is coming.
The trade makes the Jets meaningful again, gives Kellen Clements more time to mature, and punches Chad Pennington's ticket out of town. Old #10 was viewed as the savor, but injuries have killed his throwing arm and Chad will probably end up like Vinny Testaverde - a stop-gap replacement for a team who needs a QB.
I'm not saying the Jets will go to the Super Bowl (They do play in the same division as the Patriots)...I see no reason they can't make the playoffs with #4 at the helm of the offense...
